Message from the Director of the Master of Science Program
Welcome to the Postgraduate Program’ s (MSc) website entitled “Management of Chronic Diseases” supported by Nursing Department of the University of West Attica.
The Program was established in August 2018.
It offers three separate Specialties such as:
- Oncology Care
- Diabetes Care
- Gastroenterology – Endoscopy Nursing
These specialties assist students to emphasize in academic research around the field of health and care, while innovative educational approaches on Chronic Diseases are applied by specialized academic personnel.
The Program does not simply reflect the needs of the Labor Market but, it moreover, provides the opportunity to progress into the academic research through Doctorate Thesis.
Therefore, considering the importance of trained health groups and the great need of interdisciplinary approach of Management of Chronic Diseases, this program is been addressed to nurses and health professionals who curate oncological, diabetic or gastrenderology patients.
